Uses:
Specially developed for use within the Hospital system of China, this formula is used for the treatment of menopausal syndrome characterized by hot flushes, night sweats and irritability that may be accompanied by a general tendency to be cold (hot-cold syndrome), particularly in the early hours of the morning.
Symptoms and Signs;
Changes in menstrual cycle,
Hypertension,
Colder than normal with hot or warm flushes with insomnia and night sweats (sleep Hyperhydrosis),
Mood changes,
Headaches,
Feeling anxious,
Vaginal dryness,
Bladder infections or Urinary incontinence.
Directions:
For 12 years and over:
Take two tablets, twice daily with a cup of boiled warm water.

T) Possible light red especially tip, thin to no coating, often light to crimson.

Remarks:
The first three herbs, Xian mao, Yin Yang Huo and Ba Ji Tian all nourish the Liver blood while at the same time invigorate Kidney yang. Yin Yang Huo regulates the Liver while Dang Gui regulates the blood, both helping reduce the associated emotional symptoms of this pattern.
Zhi Mu and Huang Bai clear deficient heat and drain fire with Huang Bi leading the ministerial fire (pericardium) back down to the source (kidneys).
Warnings:
Although a very safe formula, tradition suggests;

Avoid using during the early stages of cold and flu or during acute infection.
